Last Time Teaching Lenard

So the first lesson was bad we didn’t think of Lenard, second awesome, third ok. OK because I need to prepare more so I can explain things, not just focus on the language and myself but get better to Tagalog for Lenard. For him I am studying this language - for the people.
Every Tuesday we have a devotional. This devotional was the woman that made the hymn Sisters in Zion and some of the primary songs. Her husband is hilarious. She was explaining the first time she met him and he said “these lips are good at the clarinet, you know what else they are good for?” right then her husband jumped up and totally kissed his wife. We all busted up laughing. It was even funnier because just before the MTC president told us that we should be quiet. After that she said “I know that man like a book, I just don’t know what page he is on.” The rest of the devotional was singing her favorite songs.
Wednesday the new kids come all the orange dots walking around and all of the scared faces (new people get orange dots on their tag). It’s weird to think that we are no longer the new kids.
We taught Lenard for the last time today. We taught him the very summarized version of the plan of salvation and committed him to baptism he freaked out because he thought TODAY! We told him a random date one we knew the numbers to. The lesson was really good but we had to rush it. Now Lenard is Brother Andrew and will be teaching us. He was just pretending to be someone from the Philippians that he taught when he was there.
We get gym time most days and we always play volley ball it is so much fun. It is great to actually stand for an hour hahaha. The MTC is a lot of sitting. On Wednesday we get $8.00 to spend in the bookstore I want to buy a Philippines mission shirt.
I forgot to tell you that on Tuesday I got to take a nap for the first time in forever. Before the devotional we have personal time and I was up that night socializing with the Tongan sisters. It was Glorious!!!!
Devotional days are chill because we don’t have class for as long. So are Sundays.
So one of the sisters in our room is way by the rules. It’s kind of annoying but me and my kasama found it is easier to just sit in the hall way and write instead of get “reminded” that flash lights doesn’t mean light off. We aren’t up late but we do need time to get our thoughts out on paper.
Some nights we see sisters packing to leave. I will miss them. Love you all every one write me on dear elder.
